Japan Egypt Network Youth

JEN-Youth, established in 2009 by the Japanese Embassy in Egypt, is a group of dedicated volunteers bridging the gap between Japan and Egypt. They organize cultural exchange events and support Egyptian students studying Japanese, as well as Japanese students studying Arabic in Egypt.

Over time, their efforts expanded through collaborations with Japanese organizations like JMESC and ISA, bringing Japanese students to Egypt for cultural events and fostering closer ties. JEN-Youth also sends representatives to showcase Egyptian culture to the Japanese community. To further support language students, they started an annual speech contest in 2013.

Through their ongoing endeavors, JEN-Youth is tirelessly working to bring Japan and Egypt closer together, culturally and nationally.
